Montoya and Rojas do not release the victory
The second date Powerade Challenge Cup mountain bike was in the hands of the same winners of the first day.
Yesterday the cyclist Paolo Montoya earned his second win in the competition, which began and ended in Corralar Tabarcia, with a distance of 37 km. The santaneño was the winner in the elite category with a time of one hour, 45 minutes and 31 seconds.
Deiber Esquivel scored second place, leaving it standing Guilly-Scotiabank team, which are part of both contestants. The third place went to Moses Hernandez, Orosi-Specialized Group. Costa Rica
Meanwhile, Adriana Rojas did the same to seize victory in the elite women, with two hours, 30 minutes and 55 seconds. She also won the challenge in Orotina, on 19 February. This time, the riders followed Daniela and Gabriela Martinez Arias.
The U-23 was left to Joseph Chavarria (Social Protection Board), who stopped the clock with a time of one hour, 56 minutes and 54 seconds.
Powerade Challenge Cup is considered one of the most demanding tests of the Costa Rican mountain biking. The contest is divided into six dates, the next will be on May 6 in Jaco and the last on August 6.
